Medieval Times Dallas at Christmas

Medieval Times Dallas with Family

As you know Medieval Times is one of my favorite places. The atmosphere, dinner, show, tournament…it’s all so exciting!  It was such fun to treat my nephew and his family to a night of swords and eating with your hands in celebration of my nephew’s birthday.

Medieval Times Dallas at Christmas

I loved seeing the castle all decked out for Christmas.  I wondered if the show would have a Christmas flair or theme, but I didn’t notice one, just the decor in the entrance, but it sure was beautiful.

Medieval Times Dallas Christmas

Had to get a shot of the birthday boy with the king!

Medieval Times Andalucian

The horses and horsemanship are spectacular!  It never gets old.  I love, love, love it!

Medieval Times Arena

It was a fabulous night in the arena.  I thought the knights’ sword fighting and tournament was the best I’d ever seen it.  My only complaint is that no matter how much I cheered my knight didn’t win.  🙂

Medieval Times Meal

We found it hilarious that after the show when asked what he liked most about the evening my nephew replied, “The food!”  Here is all that sword fighting and he says the food.  Ha ha.  But the food is one of our favorite parts too.  It’s not just how great tasting it is, the servers make it so fun.  On this night our sever gave all of the adults a huge portion of chicken and the children all received a bone.  Ha ha!  The looks on their faces.  Of course she went back and gave them their due portion, but how fun is that?

If you have the opportunity I encourage you to make it out to the castle. It’s always such a great time!
