Marriage, Sin, and Laughter

While riding in the van on our trip to Nebraska Jason looked over at me and said, “How did I marry someone as wonderful as you?”

“I must have sinned.”ย  It’s my standard answer, but it makes him laugh every time.ย  I like to remind him that it wouldn’t be funny if it weren’t for that element of truth…

He told me to, “Put that on your blog.”

Jason is pretty funny for someone so serious! And the kids would not think of him as serious at all, but loads of fun.

LOL . . . Reminds me of a card I saw in a Christian book store once. The front said, “You’re the answer to my prayers.” Then the inside said, “You’re not what I prayed for. But apparently, you’re the answer.”

Ok – once again. I didn’t get it. But at least I figured it out before I said “Uh, Esther? Once again, my brain isn’t working.”
    Very funny.
