Thanks so much to LEGOLAND for hosting our family for a day.
We are a LEGO loving family, and I can’t even tell you how long my kids have been wanting to go to LEGOLAND! This was a dream come true! There is absolutely so much to see and do at LEGOLAND! See some of our favorite things:
LEGO figures! If you are a LEGO and Star Wars fan then this is a dream. The family absolutely went wild over all the life size Star Wars figures.
Did you think I was joking? Ha ha!
Miniland! We have frequented LEGOLAND Discovery Center for years, and we love the Miniland there, but this… This is a Texas size Miniland. I thought it was so cool that it is still interactive. Push the buttons in various places and see action. So cool!
Shows! “Friends to the Rescue” is a live stage show with interactive singing and dancing. Get ready to join in and party with the gang!
“Pirate’s Cove Water Ski Show” is full of stunts, mystery, and you may even get wet as you help defeat the pirates!
There are also several 4D movies that are super fun. You won’t want to miss these!
Rides! There are so many great thrill rides for the young or young at heart as I like to say. Years ago I loved every scary coaster, but these days I enjoy the middle rides most. I love that they are mostly rides the whole family can enjoy together. Project X was one of our favorite coasters and the one my youngest kept asking to ride over and over.
I found so many interesting rides at LEGOLAND that I have not seen at other theme parks like this Royal Joust ride. The kids loved riding their pony through the joust. So cute!
The AQUAZONE Wave Racers was another new ride for us. It’s like riding the waves on speed boats. Using a lever while ride is in operation, you can have the boat open us and go out into the water or pull the lever and stay close. It’s quite a fun speed ride!
The carousel is probably one of my favorites I’ve ever ridden. It is two story and seems like from another time.
Boating School! Get to drive your own LEGO boat. This was a huge hit.
The beauty! Oh my goodness, the beauty you will find at LEGOLAND. It was so unexpected to turn a corner and see such beautiful scenic views.
LEGOLAND is a wonderful day for the whole family. We were there open to close and got to see and do most of the park. We are pretty type A when it comes to getting through a theme park and seeing the entire thing. My husband has trained me well! If you prefer a more leisurely stroll through the park and attractions definitely plan on two days!
