LaughWithUsBlog was invited to a media event at SEA LIFE Aquarium. All opinions are my own.
We celebrated #WorldTurtleDay at SEA LIFE Aquarium in Grapevine, TX! World Turtle Day kicked off #TurtleFest in Grapevine.
We all love a party! We welcomed Eddie the Sea Turtle to the Aquarium with a huge chocolate chip cookie, drinks, and stuffed turtles for the kids.
Bobby hugged his turtle and said, “I love turtle!” 🙂
The children watched a movie about sea turtles as they ate their snacks and colored.
Then we enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of SEA LIFE Aquarium and learned about sea turtles. Did you know they eat underwater and then blow the water out of their noses? Our kiddos thought that was pretty cool! Also they eat green food. We watched as this turtle Hope enjoyed romaine lettuce! We got to see Eddy the newest addition to the sea turtle family at SEA LIFE. The kids also got to see baby sharks peeking their heads out of their hiding places.
Once the tour was over, we walked through the entire Aquarium and enjoyed all the sea life. These were so colorful!
You never know what will scare the children! Ha ha. As you can see, we had fun at #TurtleFest. Jason was going to meet us there, but ended up having to work late. I’m getting braver about taking the kids out by myself!

How fun! I used to own a tiny turtle when I lived in Guatemala. The cat ate it.
