As a full time wife (Yes it’s work too you know. Ha ha) home educating mother of five and part time blogger, some weeks I’m doing good just to get to the store, forget having a plan as to what I’m going to be making. Sometimes, I’ll be honest with you, we go to Sam’s Club just for the demos! You guys know I love to try new foods. It’s like going to a gourmet food tasting for free! And many times on these occasions when I show up without a plan I rely much on the demos to help me decide what to make for supper that week.
This week though, I got a bit of a head start. I received advance notice about the demos that are coming soon and guess what? I get to share them with you too! Italian Style Fish & Pasta Dinner will be a demo at Sam’s Club! Here I’m putting my spicy spin on the recipe.
The main ingredients you will need are:
* Treasures from the Sea Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia
* Hunt’s Tomato Sauce
* Daily Chef Spaghetti
Pre-heat oven and bake Treasures from the Sea Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia according to package directions.
1 pound Daily Chef Spaghetti
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Juice of 1 squeezed key lime
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. While the spaghetti is cooking, I like to assemble the dry ingredients so that they are ready to dump in.
Drain spaghetti. Add olive oil, key lime, and dry ingredients and toss. Cover to keep warm and set aside until ready to serve.
For the sauce I added all spices from my cupboard! So this is so fast and simple when you’ve run out of all those fresh ingredients. I love a little spice and tangy taste with my fish!
Spicy, tangy tomato sauce
2 cans Hunts Tomato Sauce
Juice from 3 key limes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Pour Hunts tomato sauce to a small sauce pan. Add the remaining ingredients. Heat over medium until the sauce is piping hot and bubbly. Simmer on low until ready to serve.
When the fish, sauce, and spaghetti are all done assemble and serve! This was a hit with my family! It is a meal that all seven members of my family liked and enjoyed. That’s amazing! One of my daughters topped portion with Feta cheese, and I have to admit that was pretty yummy.

My kids love pasta with parmesan cheese. Sometimes they don’t even need sauce! This looks really good.
