I went into hysterics at Sam’s Club

Fun at Sam's ClubI have been so busy since the beginning of September.  We came home from our vacation and school started that next week.  We go to programs for homeschooling families twice a week this year, so that alone has ramped up our schedules.  I have also been super busy on my blog with sponsored campaigns.  I’m sure you’ve noticed!  🙂 When you see those though check them out!  It means that I’m getting paid!  That does excite me, because that means more opportunities for our family.

Over the last year I have had several campaigns at Sam’s Club, which is great because Sam’s is one of our favorite stores!  Frequenting the store AND the demos with five kids while working on campaigns, I’ve kind of gotten to know a few of the workers.  At times there have been glitches like I’m sent to the store, but the demo is not there; they moved it to another store, or I’m sent to buy a certain product, but that store has never carried that product.  So they know me!   Ha!

Well, it was during one of these types hiccups on a campaign when I went up to a man at Sam’s Club and asked, “Have you seen Denise lately?” He looked at me like I had lost my mind. In fact, he didn’t say anything and practically took off running. Denise is one of the managers, but the guy I asked evidently DIDN’T work at Sam’s.  To add to the humor in the situation one of the workers who I had talked to a few minutes before was standing there and saw the whole thing.  I laughed all day long about that one!  I kept imagining what went through that man’s mind.  With every scenario I’d dream up, I’d go into hysterics all over again.  Leave it to me!

That is funny. I work in a local bookstore, and have regulars that come in. Even if I am there with my family, they will still ask me where something is. And the nice person that I am, helps them out.

I wonder what that guy told his family?
