How to enjoy IT’Z Family Food & Fun with five kids

I love taking the kids to IT’Z Pizza.  A few weeks ago my sister came over with her son, and we spend the day at IT’Z.  My kids always want to eat in the theater room.  I have always  liked the movies they have played when I’ve gone.  I try to go right when it opens so that it’s the least crowded and it’s the beginning of the movie.  My kids will sit there and watch the entire movie while they eat.  That way I’ve got about an hour and a half to visit!  It was great to catch up with my sister.  She teaches full time so it’s hard to find time to get together during the school year.

Games at It'z pizzaThen we head to the games.  It always makes me a little nervous to take all the kids without Daddy there to help me keep an eye on them.  If it’s crowded, and they all go a different direction there is just no way to keep track of everyone.  Several times I have purchased each child a game card, and I go crazy trying to keep track of them.  This time Ii purchased one game card for all of them to share.  I was the keeper of the game card.  Guess what?  All the  kids stayed very close to me!  Ha ha!  Don’t you love it?

Air hockeyBefore we got there I told the kids that I wasn’t spending a ton of money on game cards.  “Play the games and enjoy playing them.  Don’t just go there and try to win tickets.”  They can go through a ten dollar game card in five minutes playing those gambling games.  I wasn’t planning on spending that much money.  I wanted them to enjoy PLAYING.  And they did!.

riding the horseThe funny thing was we didn’t see my sister or her son the entire time in the game room.  When we finally met up my sister told me, “Oh I see you guys were doing the rides.  I told my son not to waste the points on any of that and try to win as many tickets as possible…”  I got a good laugh over that one.  Next time we need to get together in advance so we’re on the same page!
