Was Easter really a week ago already? So much has happened and time has gone so fast! I can’t believe I’m just now getting around to sharing my Easter post with you! I spent the entire Saturday morning before Easter in the kitchen and it was glorious. I haven’t had that much fun in the kitchen in a long time.
For breakfast I made our favorite Sticky Bun recipe. They are so easy in the bread maker. I roll them out and put them in the refrigerator overnight. Then I just had to get up early enough to put them in the oven in the morning!
After enjoying our sticky breakfast, we went to church. While we normally enjoy a meal with our church family, this year it was canceled and my kids were excited for me to make our traditional family Easter meal at home.
This is the perfect make ahead meal! I put the ham in the crock pot in the morning, and then when I got home from church I heated up the baked beans, but other than that everything else was made ready the day before!
Our traditional Easter meal:
Ham
Potato Salad
Deviled Eggs
Cream Puff Dessert
See I was there! I told you I’d try to remember to get in the photos. 🙂
The kids have been missing our big family celebrations, so I’m so glad that I was able to do this for them!
Cream Puff dessert ends our Easter meal.
I hope you all enjoyed a happy Easter with family and/or friends! He is risen!
