Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, TX

Grapevine Mills MallFaith and I had so much fun on our overnight Mother/Daughter date.  We began our time with dinner at the Olive Garden.  Then overnight at Courtyard by Marriott in Grapevine.  After breakfast at the hotel we packed up and headed to Grapevine Mills Mall for a day of shopping.

Train at Grapevine Mills MallGrapevine Mills has so much to offer.  This is such a fun place whether you’re on vacation in the area or whether you live around Grapevine.  What kid wouldn’t want to ride a train around the mall?

Rainforest Cafe Grapevine Mills MallThe Rainforest Cafe is a favorite place to eat.  I always love a restaurant that you experience.  This is such a fun place for kids!

Carousel at Grapevine Mills MallWhere else have you seen a Carousel in the food court?  You will also find an AMC theater, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and Sealife Aquarium at Grapevine Mills.  You could spend an entire weekend just here!

Antie Annie's PretzelsFaith and I passed up all other awesome dining options to grab a Auntie Anne’s Pretzel.  The jalapeno pretzel to be exact.  They are not kidding when they say Pretzel Perfection.  I didn’t even have a coupon!  🙂

Auntie Anne's Pretzels Grapevine Mills MallAfter our lunch snack we continued on our mission.  Faith and I decided on Grapevine Mills for our outing because we were in search of the perfect dress.  Though we had fun looking, it was not to be…perfection is always elusive isn’t it?  🙂

On a humorous note, I couldn’t understand why the mall was so crowded.  I mean it was a Saturday, but it looked more like 7:00 on a Saturday than 10:30 in the morning.  As it turned out it was tax free weekend!  Oops!  Grapevine Mills is ever the popular hang out, but if you don’t like crowds stay away on tax free weekend!  Ha ha!

We left the mall and crowds behind to catch a movie before going back home and joining the rest of our family.  What a fun time it was just the two of us!
