One of the kids came and sat down beside me, but didn’t really say much. I could tell her mind was working so I just waited. Finally, she blurted out, “Mama, when babies come out, are they neckid?”
I tried to hid the surprise from my face. “Yes.” I wondered where this came from.
She was quiet for a few moments and then asked, “Then…was I neckid?”
“Yeah…” Her eyes could not have gotten any bigger.
“Does the hospital put clothes on them?” she asked.
“They clean the babies, and then wrap them in blankets to keep them warm. Then mommies and daddies put clothes on them.”
“Okay,” that seemed to make things all better. She jumped down off the couch and went back to play.

Very wise to think of that at her age.
LOL!! Oh the funny things kids think in their minds! My 3 year old son has some of the wackiest question too, but yours sure beats em 🙂
