Funny Kids Quotes #34

The girls were exchanging “words” over supper.  “Girls!” I said, “Let’s be kind to each other.”  I seem to be saying that a lot lately.

“But she called me a pig.”

Well, we had just been talking about how smart pigs are, but I decided against mentioning it.  Instead I began quoting Proverbs 20:3, a verse that Jason had had them memorize, “It is honorable for a man to stop striving…”  I waited for them to finish the sentence.

“Since any fool can start a quarrel,” one of the girls finally finished the verse.

“So if you’re not willing to stop striving, what does that make you?”

“A pig!” huffed my daughter.
