I went into my daughter Joy’s room to put something away. “Where are we going?” she asked.
“To the airport to go pick up Grandpa and Grandma.”
“Why are you wearing make-up then?”
“Because I’m going to see my mom and dad and I want to look nice.”
“Oh. I thought make-up was just for church.”
There are so many more interesting and needful things to do in a day. I should have a doctor’s excuse for not wearing make-up! I am always reminded of my sister saying, “Yeah but it’s the rest of us that suffer,” so I suppose I should make more of an effort!

That’s funny. Though I believe that God created us without make-up so it’s something I seldom wear. It’s fun on occasion or for something special, like maybe 1-2 times a year.
Too funny! My children always ask “where are we going?” when I am putting on my make-up. I seldom leave the house without it but DO NOT bother if we are staying in. It is a chore but I am not confident enough to not wear it in public.
