Funny Kids Quotes #10

“Mom everyone thinks we’re people don’t they?”

I have spent waaaay too much time pondering this comment I’ll tell ya!  Does she know something I don’t know?  If we aren’t people then what on earth are we?  Maybe she thinks laughing, screaming, fighting, dancing weirdos aren’t people.  Hmm.  Maybe we are trying to pretend we’re  something we’re not.  She couldn’t tell me what she meant.  I’ll never know, but when we start acting like ourselves in public I’m going to remind her, “Careful, we want them to think we’re people!”

I’m linking with Hip Homeschool Hop and Miscellany Monday.

To Colleen–If you have children, they will! The thing is that most parents hear something like that and think, “Well, that was strange,” and immediately forget about it. We need to look for the humor AND write it down. Good for Esther!

🙂 I so agree that you need a sense of humor. In everyday situations especially!
