“Mom everyone thinks we’re people don’t they?”
I have spent waaaay too much time pondering this comment I’ll tell ya! Does she know something I don’t know? If we aren’t people then what on earth are we? Maybe she thinks laughing, screaming, fighting, dancing weirdos aren’t people. Hmm. Maybe we are trying to pretend we’re something we’re not. She couldn’t tell me what she meant. I’ll never know, but when we start acting like ourselves in public I’m going to remind her, “Careful, we want them to think we’re people!”
I’m linking with Hip Homeschool Hop and Miscellany Monday.

HAHAHA, PRICELESS!!:) That is one of the best quotes ever…oh I do so hope that someday my children will say hilarious things.:)
To Colleen–If you have children, they will! The thing is that most parents hear something like that and think, “Well, that was strange,” and immediately forget about it. We need to look for the humor AND write it down. Good for Esther!
🙂 I so agree that you need a sense of humor. In everyday situations especially!
I’m glad to learn your daughter is receiving my emails on ways to torment Mommy. Haha!
Love this.
Oh yes, you just have to run across to my post for the day and you’ll see that children really do say strange things ALL the time!
Oh that’s a good response. Cute kids.
Ha ha, I love it!
Sounds like you’ve done a good job explaining that Irish are a special breed! =)
too funny that girl!
Your kids are so sweet she might think people think of her as an angel 🙂
LOVE IT! I am definitely laughing with you on this one.
As always your kid’s quotes are adorable and funny!
Oh my goodness – that is something to ponder 🙂
That’s really funny, Esther…wonder what she meant…:))
I wonder what she meant….. Hmm…..
