“No picking your boogers and throwing them on the kitchen table!” was what I heard my husband tell one of the kids. Good advice I’d say! 🙂
“Honey, I tried to call you today. You must have turned your phone off when you went to that seminar,” I commented to Jason when he got home that day.
“No, I heard you calling and shut the phone off,” was my husband’s response. Ha ha! He’s not mean. I promise. It was just the reaction to having his phone ring when he was sitting on the front row at a seminar!
My husband went to a men’s Bible study on marriage. I asked him if he learned anything. “Oh yes,” he assured me.
“So…tell me something.”
“I don’t know, but it’s all in my notes!”  I guess if I find the notes in the trash then I’m out of luck! Ha ha!
And then after church one evening Jason asked, “Did you understand the message?” I wasn’t sure what was worse the fact that he thought I was so dumb I didn’t get the message or the fact that it really was way over my head!

That’s funny! I love that you were almost offended the message that went over your head…went over your head (and he noticed). I’ve done that many times before :).
Love! I got to dig furthur into your blog. I try to save the stuff my family says and share it when I got enough worth sharing.
Stopping by from UBP 13 and I enjoyed my visit.
Fondly,

Love that first line! I think my husband and I have uttered it from time to time as well! Nice to meet you via #UBP13, your family is gorgeous!
I love hearing the funny interactions between family members 😉 Some good stuff going on here.
Love your quotes…too funny! I’ve turned off my phone when my hubby or kids call . . . when I’m in a meeting.
Hopping over from UBP13. I homeschooled for 10 yrs, but now mine are all grown up. I also like to cook, craft & write. If you ever want some fun activities with your kids, stop by for our Oreo Moon Phases or our Lucky Charms Graph.
Too funny! And you look busy with all those kiddos!
Stopping by from the Ultimate Blog Party!
Hi visiting from UBP. Love the funnies. What a refreshing visit
I love your sense of fun and humor Esther!
It’s nice to meet you.
I’m visiting from the UBP hop!
Enjoy the rest of the week!
How funny that you capture your husband’s funny quotes… I’ve never seen that before. Lots of moms share what their kids say and Charlie from “How To Be A Dad” does quotes from his wife… but I think this is the first husband quotes I’ve seen.
Thanks for joining the UBP link up.
