You know all those things that they say will get more difficult after forty…like pregnancy, child birth, recovery, WEIGHT LOSS! True–all of them! I have gained fifty pounds with every child. I don’t know how people do it without gaining all the weight. After each child I have worked hard to lose it. I gave myself nine months. If it took me nine months to gain it, then I should have that much time to lose it right? And I always have until this time. Nine months came and went, and I still had eight pounds to lose to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight. Now Bobby’s first birthday is fast approaching, and I am determined to lose it before then. I decided to stop snacking and stop eating all sweets for (gasp) 31 days. I had been doing this for a week when I discovered Full Core.

I went online, placed my order, and couldn’t wait until it arrived. You can find my shopper insights in my Google+ album.
It’s so much fun to receive things in the mail! Shopping online is fast becoming my preferred method. It saves on gas, and I don’t have to haul five children around!
Many of you know how much I have enjoyed a regular soda every day. That was the one thing that was the most difficult to give up entirely. I’ve never been a huge fan of diet sodas because of the horrible after taste. I thought Full Core tasted really good and didn’t have any after taste. It is lightly carbonated and was a great substitute for soda!
Full Core also provides 40% (10 grams) of daily fiber needs for digestive health. Okay now I have to tell you that I was a little bit worried about this because I have had uh…digestive issues with other products that are fiber enriched. I carefully drank my first Full Core drink on a day when I would be home–just in case, but it was needless because I had no side effects to the fiber woo hoo!
So did Full Core help me stop snacking? Yes! Living in a kitchen really makes it hard to keep from taking a little here and a little there. I have been drinking one beverage daily in the evening right before it’s time to cook supper. I sip on Full Core whenever I feel like eating something while I’m cooking. By the time supper is ready, I’m no longer starving and just eat normally. I found Full Core at the perfect time. It is great for hunger control!
My goal was to stop snacking and stop eating sweets for 31 days. I’ve heard it said that it takes that long to form a habit. So although I don’t plan to refrain from them altogether in the future, I hope that I will not crave them as often. After three weeks I lost six pounds and was finally able to get into most of my pre-pregnancy jeans. Yea! I’ve only got two pounds to go!
