When Nebraska plays, and we can’t watch it on TV, this is oh so tempting. Oh, and I have always wanted to try DVR! Maybe this will be the year! The following guest post is brought to you by satellitetvfamily.com.
It can often be hard for families to find television shows that everyone can enjoy at once, or which are appropriate for both parents and children. However, there is now a wider range of different television packages that are available to consumers, meaning that families now have more options for programming. For example, if you check out a satellite company like Satellite TV Family, you will find that there are huge selections of channels and special packages that can be made available to you and your family, meaning that your television watching time can become much simpler, and much more relaxing for you and your family. Here are a few words on some of the benefits you can receive.
To begin with, access to more channels (as well as movie streaming channels and premium programming from networks like HBO) means that you will have more family friendly shows to choose from. A wider selection always means more options, and with an expansive satellite package you may find that there are many more shows that you can watch with your family, and which will satisfy everybody. Additionally, your new satellite package may offer you the ability to implement parental controls, meaning that even when it isn’t necessarily family tv time, you can make sure that your children are watching appropriate programs.
You will also be able to enjoy extra programming when it comes to sports and movies. Nearly every professional athletic association has a network deal to bring you just about every game that you could be interested in, with the right package. This means that you can gain access to all of your favorite teams, and either watch their games live or record them on DVR to watch later. Additionally, with access to movie streaming services and premium channels like Cinemax, your movie selection will be far more expansive than ever before. In fact, with the right combination of channels and packages, you may be able to watch a virtually endless library of films.
For more detailed information on the sorts of packages and benefits that you can enjoy with a satellite television deal, simply visit a website for Satellite TV Family. There are a number of different offerings available to you, some of which offer more programming and different prices than others, but the overall idea is that you will have more options than you have with basic cable. This enhancement should be great for both you and your family as it makes more entertainment available to you all.

Once you go DVR, you’ll never want to go back. Just a warning!
Thanks for checking in….I just posted a promotion on my site that you may have just missed. Check it out when you have a chance. My blog entry for the day details the November promo. God Bless!
Just saying, Esther, that you can have a DVR without digital cable or satellite. Dave found one. it’s really a DVD player with a hard drive in it. So it works exactly like a DVR. And I LOVE IT!!!! He just got it a few months ago. I had to use my VCR for something a couple of weeks ago, and it was so hard after falling in love with the VCR. Here’s what he got:

It’s a bit pricey, but you can find it cheaper elsewhere.
I’ve never even had basic cable. Isn’t that sad?
NO SUSAN! That’s not sad. It’s all nothing but junk anyway. You’re smart by not wasting your money. We have it only because it’s SUPER cheap with our cable internet. Otherwise, I wouldn’t waste my money.
@Susan, I’ve never had anything except the free channels either. 🙂
I tweeted ya!
@ZombiemommySaves, Thanks so much! 🙂
