Every Day is a Big Day #MiniMoments #spon

We are starting a Nutrition Tradition as part of Scholastic and Kellogg’s® Frosted Mini Wheats® “Every Day is a Big Day” program where families are invited to complete monthly missions for an opportunity to earn free Scholastic books and be entered into a sweepstakes. This #MiniMoment is sponsored.

Many of the families we know have either started school or school is starting very soon. We still have a summer vacation coming up so we feel like we have some time yet, but school is closing in! The beginning of the school year also brings earlier mornings. At least we have slept in and taken our mornings slow over the summer. But when school starts we will either need to be up and out early or will need to be getting up early to start school at home. Mornings are when we are the most productive, and if we let those mornings slide, then we regret it the rest of the day.

So we will be setting the alarm and eating breakfast together. Typically breakfast is the only meal that we don’t all sit down together. The kids just get themselves something to eat when they get up. I don’t cook breakfast. I made that deal with my husband before we got married. I said, “I don’t cook breakfast, and I don’t iron.” He said, “I like cereal for breakfast, and I can Iron my own clothes,” and he’s been true to his word!

Even though I don’t cook breakfast, (Early morning has always been the most difficult time of the day for me. I just need some time to wake up!) I want to provide my family with a variety of healthy cereals, fruit, and other quick breakfast food. Thankfully, just like my husband, my kids like cereal for breakfast too!

Kellogg’s® Frosted Mini-Wheats® and Scholastic have partnered to bring you the Every Day is a Big Day program, created to benefit families, schools and communities across the country.

Your family is invited to complete monthly Mini™ Missions to get free books for your family. Also, each month you’ll be entered into a sweepstakes for the chance to win one of 131 valuable prizes for your school and community. As you earn books and enter the sweepstakes, your family is sure to have a blast and learn something new along the way!

Start here and register for your first monthly mission!

This is a sponsored conversation by me on behalf of Kellogg’s(R) Frosted Mini-Wheats(R). The opinions and text are all mine.
