You might have scorned our Texas “frozen” winter, but when it comes to the heat around here, there’s little debate. Can it possibly be that we’re already in the mid 90s? Crazy hot! Still I’m pushing the kids outside! To have them running circles and jumping around my house drives me in sane. It’s called mandatory outside play time. Yep, I’m that mom!
It was after supper and during one of these play times that I surprised the kids with these super duper easy Iced Coffee Floats. They rode their bikes and played basketball with Dad. Even though it was evening their little faces were flushed red from the heat.
In a flash I prepared the Iced Coffee Floats. Just add vanilla ice cream to a glass and pour International Delight Iced Coffee over it. Voila! Such an easy dessert or snack to put together on a hot day. It takes next to no prep time, but it is still special and delicious! International Delight Iced Coffee in Vanilla has been a favorite of ours for a long time, but the Caramel Macchiato is a new favorite. Yum!
The kids were so excited and devoured their Iced Coffee floats. My little guy cracked me up watching his brother eat his shake. He did get one too; I promise. Only he didn’t get the glass cup…for obvious reasons! But hey, once he put a spoonful of that yummy goodness into his mouth, he did not complain.
Wouldn’t it be fun to win an International Delight Tumbler? Check out International Delight’s Summer Iced Coffee Tumbler Sweepstakes on their Facebook page! They’re giving away 100 Iced Coffee tumblers each week through the end of August. Head on over and enter. You can enter once daily!
