Dinos, Zip Lines, and Ropes Course at Moody Gardens

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Moody Gardens.  All opinions are my own.

There is so much to do at Moody Gardens I couldn’t possibly get it all in one post!  My list began here: 10 reasons to visit Moody Gardens. Moody Gardens Dinos Alive #ad8. Dinos Alive.  Featuring  animatronic dinosaurs, including a full-size Tyrannosaurus, you can get up-close and personal with some of your favorite dinos!  I’ve told you how much our family loves dinosaurs.  Even my oldest really looked forward to this exhibit remembering how much she liked it the first time we were here.

Dinos Alive Moody Gardens #adMy youngest was just a little leery at first, until he saw the girls were not harmed by any dinos!  Ha ha.

Dinos Alive at Moody Gardens #adI love it when the kids are having so much fun they are actually asking me to take photos!  There is also a hands-on archeological dig at the end of the exhibit by the gift shop.  I had to pull my kids from here, but there was so much more to see and do!

Zip Line Moody Gardens #ad9. Ropes Course and Zip Line.  Brave the five-tier Sky Trail® Ropes Course, the tallest Steel Ropes Course on the Gulf Coast or enjoy a round trip on the Zip Line!  The last time our family enjoyed a day of ropes and ziplining, Little Jason was not tall enough and had to wait and watch while everyone else played.  He was THRILLED to be able to participate.

Moody Gardens Ropes Course #adI’m telling you he was fearless up there.  He got stuck a few times and his sisters had so gently move his line on, but it didn’t phase him one bit.  I don’t know where he gets hear fearlessness from, but I loved watching him up there.

Moody Gardens Ropes Course #adThis was Joy’s favorite part of the day.  In fact I think she would have spent all day up there if I had let her.

Toddler Ropes Course Moody Gardens #adAnd oh my goodness they have a separate Sky Tykes course for the little ones!  How I appreciated this as a mom of tots to teens.  This course is just a few feet off the ground and they are secured in just as they would be in the big course.

Moody Gardens Sky Tykes Ropes Course #adI loved that Bobby felt like he got to participate along with the family.  So much fun!

10. MG 3D Theater.  This theater boasts the largest screen in Texas with top-of-the-line surround sound system, and a state-of-the-art 3D viewing experience!  We watched the Humpback Whales show and thought it was spectacular!

This was our fun full day at Moody Gardens.  We didn’t even get to Palm Beach, the water park.  There just wasn’t enough time in one day to do it all.  Our fist time to visit Moody Gardens we purchased season passes.  If you will be there more than one day I would recommend the season passes.  That way you can come and go and enjoy the day at your leisure as well as all the added benefits of a membership.
