Our second day on the ship we were at sea all day. I think this was my favorite day. I really enjoyed looking out at the water. It was really calm. As soon as the kids began waking up we all got ready and went to the fancy dining room for breakfast.
They even had Cheerios for Bobby. This was the one meal that I actually preferred the buffet. Service was pretty slow at the dining room and it was just easier and faster to let everyone choose something from the buffet.
The girls were excited to get back to Camp Carnival and all of their activities. They didn’t want to miss anything!
After breakfast we took the kids to Camp Carnival. Here is the glass elevator in the middle of the ship. The kids loved this one. It seems like we spent much of our time running up and down the halls of the ship and going up and down stairs and elevators. The girls class was in a different location and by the time we found it one of the kids needed to change clothes. So we made the long walk back and forth and up and down. By the time we got all the kids situated we only had about an hour and a half before it was time to pick them up again. After much more walking up and down and back and forth we found the location of the family shows. I attempted to feed Bobby and before we knew it, it was time to get the kids for lunch.
Over breakfast I had been jealous of those sitting by the window so we got there early and asked for a table by the window for lunch. I was glad we did. I just loved sitting there gazing out at the sea! We enjoyed a lovely meal…when no one was screaming! lol
Our crew was dying to get out to the water slides so after lunch we made it out. They had a blast out there! The big windy slide was super fun and they did it over and over again, except for Little Jason who was very disappointed to find out that he was too little.
Thankfully all around the slides was a splash park so Little Jason, once he got over his disappointment, had a blast playing around there.
They also had these two fast racing slides which were super fun too. My only complaint is that my legs were super sore from going up and down the stairs to get back up to the slides!
