Cute things kids say

Little Jason is at a stage that, when he’s not being naughty, it seems like everything he says is cute.  He was trying to say something to Jason and kept repeating, “Daddy, Daddy,” over and over.  I guess he’s learned that it’s best to get his attention first because finally he said, “Daddy!  Say ‘what’ to me!”

The next day he was trying to tell me something and I wasn’t cooperating either.  At last he said, “Look at me.”  Even a three year old knows that a good listener uses eye contact!

My niece recently spent a couple of weeks with us.  The first day she was here he told her, “I want you go home.”  There was a pause.  Then he added, “And I want to come with you.”

Oh, how cute. He’s got those listening skills down and knows how to make you pay attention.
