Confessions of a Prodigal Son Movie

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Confessions of a Prodigal Son Movie.  All opinions are my own.
Confessions of a Prodigal Son

You know besides my family, food, and travel, there’s not much I enjoy more that a great movie.  I was thrilled to get to pre-screen Confessions of a Prodigal Son.  Nathan Clarkson is the son of Sally Clarkson, christian speaker and author.

A few years ago I remember hearing Sally talk about her children at a homeschool conference.  I was especially interested to hear that her son Nathan was going into the movie business.  Wow!  I just love hearing that Christians are out there making and promoting great entertainment.  Nathan wrote, produced, and stared in the Confessions of a Prodigal Son along with his wife Rachael Lee and…KEVIN SORBO!  Suffice to say we are huge Kevin Sorbo fans!

My only hesitation in taking this sponsored post was…”What if I don’t like the movie?”  Sometimes “Religious” productions can be cheesy, doctrinally…weird, and just plain uninteresting.   But my fears were unfounded as I found Confessions of a Prodigal Son to be a very interesting and relate-able movie.

I found myself drawn in by the story and struggles of the characters.  While all of our life stories vary, we are all saved from the sins that bound us, whatever they might have been.  For me it was a soul searching movie.  Am I living a story worth telling?

For a great in depth review of the movie check out Michael Poland’s The One Cheaply Made Christian Film Worth Seeing.

The DVD will be available in stores this week starting March 24, 2015!  I can’t wait to get mine.  This is a great addition to your entertainment library!  Check it out!

Thanks for telling about this movie. Kevin Sorbo is my next husband (so I can’t explain why I didn’t already know about it). I can’t wait to see it.
