Cherishing Natural Beauty #7DayJourney

Seventh Generation is celebrating beauty, and I want to tell you a little about one of the most beautiful people I know. Her name is Kathy, and she is my mother-in-law.

Most BeautifulKathy married my father-in-law a year after Jason and I were married. Between the two of them they have eight grown children and a slew of grand children.

Kathy is beautiful inside. One of the things I admire most about Kathy is how giving she is in so many ways. She gives herself to her family by constantly working to create wonderful memories. I credit her largely for how much I love to celebrate holidays and do special things for my family.

When I had my first child, she came to spend a week with me to help me. I thank God that she was willing to give of her time in this way, because while she was there I hemorrhaged, and I believe would have died had she not been there.

Every time I have been to her house she is always doing things for others. She prepares and takes meals to family and friends in need. She will take in a friend’s dog at a moment’s notice. She sacrifices her time to care for children of family and friends. She is a master at gift giving always knowing the perfect thing to send whether it be for a holiday or just a small token letting someone know she’s thinking about them.

Kathy is also beautiful outside. Her beauty is simple and natural. She is never one that is highly made up or showy, but people always comment on how beautiful she is. Her bathroom drawers are not jam packed full of needless things. She keeps only what she uses daily, the minimum. She keeps her home pretty, clean, and free of clutter. My husband has told me several times that he wants me to run my home like Kathy.

I thought of Kathy when I recently got to try these new products from Seventh Generation:

#7DayJourney

Seventh Generation is pleased to introduce an authentically natural line of personal care products derived from plant-based formulas, including bar soap, body wash, lotion, hand wash and facial cleansing wipes. The pure, plant-based formulas provide simply what your skin needs, and no harsh chemicals or faux benefits, guiding you down the path toward healthier, naturally beautiful skin.

I loved the simple clean scents.  These Seventh Generation products are scented with essential oils and botanical extracts.  The washes and lotion left my skin feeling soft and clean.

Seventh Generation wants to get you started on your journey to natural beauty.

Visit 7 Day Journey to natural beauty for tips and information on their new line of USDA approved biobased products ranging from facial wipes to body lotion!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Seventh Generation. The opinions and text are all mine.
