Celebrating my boy with cards for kids!

I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser.

Celebrating my boy with #kidscards #shopMy son Little Jason is the fourth of my five children.  He has been having a tough time with his place in the family lately.  You know, he’s not the little one, but he’s still too little to do lots that the older girls get to do, and he certainly doesn’t feel like he gets his share of the attention.  I think it was toughest on him the last week when I was out of town and with my upcoming trip to Alaska, I wanted to take a little time out to celebrate him.  I started by heading to Walmart shop for kids cards!

#KidsCards at Walmart #shopI found the most fun cards in the section titled, “Kids Cards with Fun Extras.”  I loved looking though Hallmark’s Poster cards.  Why just get a card when you can get a card and poster in one?  I loved them!  Did you know that you can earn rewards for the Hallmark cards you buy at Walmart? For every 5 cards you buy, you’ll earn a reward.  Follow the link to sign up  Hallmark Card Rewards Program!

Hallmark poster card #kidscards #shopIsn’t is so exciting when you find the perfect card?  We watched Star Wars with the family last year and to my boys everything is a light saber.  I loved this “I have you now!” since I had plans to whisk him away by himself for a date with Mom.

Star Warks #kidscard #shopThen the inside said, “Prepare to be Celebrated!” and that’s exactly what I wanted to do: celebrate him!

I invited Little Jason out for a date.  We went to Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat.  Before the treat, I told him I had something for him and gave him his card.  He had so much fun opening it!

Darth Vader Poster #kidscard #shopHe LOVED it!  The poster is bigger than he is.  He couldn’t wait to put it up in his room!

Ice Cream date with my son #kidscards #shopHe picked out his ice cream and we chatted.  He’s not much of a talker and less when he is eating ice cream, but we had a great time, and I think the day made him feel very special!

Our kids definitely deserve to be loved on “all by themselves”! His reaction is so cute when he opens up the card! #client
