Taking a Carnival cruise with the family? Don’t miss the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast with the Cat in the Hat and Friends, a blast start to finish! Carnival provided our family with one of their cruise packages and invited us to the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast. We purchased some items as well. As always all opinions are my own.Reserving your Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast first thing is a must! When we first embarked on the Carnival Breeze, we saw a station where they were taking reservations. We stopped for a minute, but decided to eat first and then go back to reserve our specialty dining. By the time we finished eating and made it back, the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast was almost completely sold out! On this occasion the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast filled up so fast that they did open up another day.
I always love a theme and fun food so we were all thrilled for this experience, but these two boys were over-the-top excited. They talked about it every day and really lived it up.
We arrived early and had fun catching a couple of photos.
From the moment the doors open the experience is just, “Wow!”
The attention to detail is amazing and so well done.
Your Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast comes with a storybook menu that in itself is so fun. See several things on the menu you want to try? No problem! Just ask your server. They are more than happy to bring what you want!
Your foodie experience begins with a choice of yogurt parfait.
They were so beautiful, we almost didn’t want to dig into them. Almost!
Oh well of course we did! How is this for a breakfast appetizer?
There are many character experiences throughout the breakfast. Every little while a new friend would be announced and walk down the stairs to meet us.
The Cat in the Hat and his friends stay long enough for anyone who wants to to come take photos with them. Carnival photographers also take photos you can purchase. I love this! Sometimes it’s the only way to prove I was there. 😉
The food is delicious, and have I mentioned…oh so fun! We absolutely HAD to try the Green Eggs and Ham. The kids were dying to know if they liked green eggs and ham. In fact, they don’t! Ha! Well my kids that don’t like eggs didn’t like them, but it cracked me up that they were surprised about it, and I loved that they were so willing to try it.
I had to have the Truffula Tree pancakes!
From There to Here, From Here to There Funny Belgian Waffles are Everywhere!
Not in the mood for sweets? Feast on Fox in Socks Steak and Eggs. My husband was thrilled with filet Mignon for breakfast.
From here to there and everywhere this is an experience you won’t want to miss! No kids? No problem! There were groups there with zero kids. They just smiled and said, “We’re kids at heart!” and loved every minute. Considering the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast? There is an additional charge of $5–completely worth it! This specialty breakfast is very limited so remember to reserve early!

The boys looked like they have so much fun and the food look delicious.
It was such a blast and you can’t go wrong with the food. If you don’t like one thing they will bring you something else!
This is why I love Carnival. They make their cruises fun for everyone from young to old.
Without a doubt!
Oh, I love the green eggs and ham themed food! This is fun. I love how Carnival is making things more attractive for family vacationing. One day we’ll cruise. I’m just waiting for my boys to be a little older.
Our first family cruise my youngest was 1. It was tiring having a baby, but still so much fun!
I have never been on a cruise before! This one looks amazing! Green eggs and ham is a classic from my childhood! I would have been all over that one! I love how much effort they put in it!
Oh I hope you get to cruise Carnival! Attention to detail can be found everywhere.
I haven’t been on a Carnival Cruise in a long time, but if I ever went with my kids, I would love to take them to this! Looks like so much fun!
I hope you do, Shannon, so much fun!
This looks like a ton of fun. We already love cruising, but this would make it even better for my kids.
My kids looked forward to it the whole time.
Oh my goodness, that looks like so much fun. I really want to go on a cruise… One day hopefully!
I hope you do, Angie!
That looks like so much fun. This is exactly what my girls would love too. We love Dr. Seuss. They’re some of our favorite books.
My favorite books too. Can’t go wrong with Dr. Seuss!
Sounds amazing! When we did a carnival cruise, they didn’t have that!
Time to plan another cruise! 😉
