Our second night on the ship ended with formal night. I had been looking forward to dressing up and the food was reported to be the best on this night. But after swimming and letting the kids go their activity while we strolled the ship, there wasn’t much time to get ready if we were going to make it to the front of the line 🙂 for our meal. So the girls put on their fancy dresses and with swim day barely dry hair we ran to our dinning room.
This was pretty much the extent of our formal night photos. Okay there are a few more but this was the best one. Maybe because it was busier or maybe we just got a bummer of a waiter that night, but the service was horrible. I don’t think it could have been slower. The guy wasn’t very nice. He didn’t get the kids the things they asked for. All this was pretty much a disastrous when you’re sitting there with five tired kids. It was the only night we had bad service. The other nights were wonderful. We did pay the full extent of recommended tipping for each one of us, but my only regret was that I didn’t change it for this night. I wish I had taken the tip that went to this waiter and given it to our awesome waiter that took care of us the next couple of nights, but oh well!
Hours later we took the girls back to Camp Carnival for the evening activities. We made it to the end of the family comedy show which was pretty good and then we just waited until time to pick up the kids.
Next the Nassau Bahamas Historical Tour.

That’s unusual to have bad service. We have had such great service on every cruise! Glad your other nights were good though! You know you can respond to Carnival’s email (they usually send on after you get home to rate the cruise) about that night.
