Thanks so much to BrickUniverse for hosting our family for a day of fun building. All opinions are my own. The kids were super excited to head back to the Irving Convention Center to explore BrickUniverse.
There was so much to see. Master builders really put on a display for us to behold. From LEGO art to…
all kinds of LEGO structures. Joy loves to build, but spending the day at BrickUniverse showed her how much she relies on directions. Since we’ve been back home it’s been fun to see her think out of the box with her LEGOs.
If you or your child loves building with LEGOs, then this is the place for you. There was ample opportunity to create. This fun was a fun LEGO challenge. Each person is given a box of LEGOs and at the start of 10 minutes told what to make. The winner of each challenge took home a LEGO magazine.
This guy loved this section of LEGOs best. There’s just something about all the blocks being the same size and color.
My little guy walked carefully onto the LEGOs. Then he plopped down and began making things. He was so into his building it was tough to get him to look up!
The Storm Trooper was a big hit for this little guy. His eyes followed him around the convention center and when we were close he asked if I’d take his photo with the Storm Trooper. I was happy to comply!
There was all this and so much more to do. There was an amazing turnout. We spent about two hours building and gawking at the amazing structures. Fun day!
