Bobby’s First Hair Cut

We finally did it.  We cut his hair!  Some of your are probably thinking, “It’s about time!”  It was getting pretty scraggly, but I was so sad to cut his hair!  I always think babies look so much more grown up or something once you cut their hair.  I just wanted to hang on to this baby as long as possible!

And here we are.  He wasn’t overly traumatized by the hair cut, but he was not happy about it either.  By the time it was over we were NOT going to get him to smile.  The only way he would even be content was with his thumb in his mouth.  Aw!

I was NOT thinking “it’s about time”. I know how hard it is to do that. My nephew didn’t get his hair cut until – well, I’m not sure if he was 3 but he was close to be 3 if not already 3.
He’s adorable anyway, though. This year has gone SO fast!!!

Aww…. He’s cute. But I think you should have left the hair. He’s only a baby once and baby hair does not last that long. 🙁

Cute kiddo!! Looks a lot like his older brother, I think. We didnt cut my son’s hair until right before his sister was born (they are 18mths apart). He had beautiful curls in the back.. I cried when he lost them. But I am a sentimental sap like that!LOL

He looks handsome! And still like a baby, actually.
