Blog Humor

I don’t expect anyone to read my blog.  I really don’t.  I know people are busy with so, so many things.  That said I LOVE to hear that someone–anyone has read my blog and liked something about it.  It doesn’t matter if one story is all they’ve ever read or intend to read; it just makes my day.  I feel like I could just skip all the way home.

BUT there are the people that have to be thorough.  “Hey Esther, I read your blog today.  It was so funny.  I just love your blog! (I can feel my head swelling with pride.)  I don’t read it very often though.  I’m just so busy you know, and I have so much to do all the time…”  Why, oh why, end with a downer?  While that may be true and completely okay, it would have just been fine to leave that last part off don’t you think? He he!  I realize people are busy, and I don’t expect them to read every post, but saying it out loud and leaving it hanging…well it’s just kind of deflating.  Ha ha!  I get this all the time!

And my favorite: I’ll tell you one on my mom, because she’s such a good sport, and because I think it’s hilarious.  She was telling me that she has read every single blog post.  She reads it each morning when possible and always goes back to read the ones that she for whatever reason had to miss.  She is by far my biggest fan.  She told me, “I even read the ones I’m not interested in!”

I’m linked with Works for Me Wednesday, Women Living Well, Time Warp Wife and Gratituesday.

Your mom may be direct, Esther, but she comes by it naturally! (Knowing her mom and her sister like I do!) LOL

Oh, Esther, you know what I mean! Star Wars Cereal? (For instance) I loved the pictures of the kids and saved every one. Stuff to clean the commode or whatever? Whatever! I know lots of young house keepers are interested in all that. Like I said, I read it all.

Love it Esther! My Mom doesn’t know how to turn on the computer, let alone surf the web to read my blog 🙂

This is such a REAL….post. I just love it!! We have enough negative in the world, we definitely need more positive and fun (and real~ oh how I love for others to be real!! )
And your Mom… she seems real too! lol!! (and I get it too….my Mom is the same way. Sometimes her filter just doesn’t work. And I wonder why mine doesn’t sometimes????

I love it – she even reads the ones she’s not interested in. How funny is that comment.
