Our Family Vacation to Houston Part 8
We left the Children’s Museum and headed to the Aquarium Restaurant in downtown Houston for supper. I had really been looking forward to this. I thought it was super neat. However, the excitement and fatigue of the day hit full force about the time we sat down to eat. I think all four children had at least one melt down. I was disappointed, but I knew we were pushing them past their limits.
With full little bellies my kiddos all bounced back to their wonderful, happy selves as we made our way to tour Houston’s Downtown Aquarium.
It was again lots of family fun.
The stingrays were my favorite part of the Aquarium. They were so interactive! Right after I took this picture Joy put her hand in the water and one of the sting rays came right up and splashed her. Everyone jumped back and screamed!
It took us only an hour to get through the Aquarium, and we did enjoy it, but we were so tired we were glad when we finished seeing it. Even though we enjoyed it, for the price of the tickets and the amount of time it took us to walk through it, this was probably not an attraction we would pay to see again.
Everyone fell into bed that night and didn’t move again until morning.
Continue to Part 9 of our vacation.

I’ve been to a few places where you can pet the sting rays…always a little scary! 🙂
We pet the stingrays at Discovery Kingdom this weekend. They have an interesting feel to them. I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not though…
We have one of the coolest aquariums ever in New England I really enjoy taking a couple of the kids and spending the day exploring!
Our family enjoys visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Thanks for joining in Wednesday’s Block Party Hop! I now Follow via GFC and FB as well 🙂
