There has been lots going on in our household of late, but one huge answer to prayer is that my husband starts a new job in Dallas next week! As I told you in my Marriage and Bitterness post, the job my husband took in May was a job I had concerns about, and as it turned out the position was not the right one for my husband.
It has been months of stress for him, for me. Jason is a great father, and I am so used to leaning on him when he comes home from work. He typically is so great about taking the kids for a while and giving me a break. He plays and roughhouses with them and brings joy back into our home…until someone gets hurt, but that’s besides the point right? Ha! Well, these last few months he has come home so tired and stressed out that he hasn’t had much patience left over for us. So the kids have had TWO frazzled parents by the end of each day, and it has just made for some very long days.
While the position has not proved to be what my husband wants to be doing, he has come to appreciate and enjoy his coworkers and he will be sad to leave them. We are thankful for this new opportunity for my husband to be in a position that better fits his gifts and personality but, beginning a new job is stressful in itself. We would appreciate prayer for a smooth transition.

Congrats Esther and I will pray! Happy New Year also! May the Lord richly bless you and your family this coming year!
Congratulations to your husband! My husband is in a high-stress job, and what you described is exactly what my husband has to live through every day, compounded by the fact that he has sleep problems. I would love for my husband to not have a high stress job, but there are no alternatives at this point, if we want to put food on the table.
Congratulations! I love hearing/reading about answered prayers!
