The second day on the Island the kids spent most of the day at the hotel pool. I was pretty proud of my purchase of such a nice hotel right on the beach with pool and full breakfast for $63 a night. Priceline.com saved the day again!
When we went in to change for lunch I was very quick and organized. I had everything laid out. I gave strict orders to all the kids not to get the hotel room all wet. I rushed the girls into the bathroom and asked Jason to watch Little Jason for just a minute. In a flash I came back out with all three girls dressed and ready to go to lunch. Then I told Jason he could go change and that while he got dressed I’d get Little Jason ready.
I sat down in the soft chair while I helped Little Jason out of his swimsuit and into dry clothes. In record time everyone was ready to go. I stood up from the chair. Something didn’t feel right. Instinctively I ran my hand across the back of my pants. Wet! How could I have gotten all wet? Jason–that rascal–had sat down on the chair in his soaking wet swim suit to wait for the girls to vacate the bathroom! Here I had been so careful not to let the kids touch anything. I should have been more concerned about what my husband was doing!

He’s a little absent minded, but how many men spend the better part of a day entertaining the kids in the pool? You showed that in the picture, and we all appreciated it! You are a good team.
Definitely something my husband would do. Thankfully we had all boys so usually he got the boys together while I got ready. Cause ya know the boys want DADDY to do it..
I have never used priceline.com..but have lot’s of friends that have..I think you’ve definately convinced me to use it!!
Oh by the way..totally a guy thing! Rats! LOL
Blessings!
Now, isn’t that the way it always is?
I know just what you mean! So funny! You got to love ’em.
Always the husband, lol.
I sat on something wet once, and I was nowhere near where I could change. I’m sure people thought I had wet my pants for the rest of the day…
