Today my niece Skyler Ashley is guest posting. She loves to write and is in the process of finishing her first book that is set to publish at Barnes and Noble through their PubIt program. Follow her on Facebook. Below is her story that made me laugh:
My sister and I were sent to the store to find something to keep the cats out of our living room. We searched the cat aisle and managed to find three different sprays for exactly that purpose. While I read the labels for each one, trying to decide on the best, Andi had picked one out and was trying to figure out whether or not it was odorless. She decided, since the bottle didn’t say, she’d test it out, and so proceeded to spray it on the nearest thing that resembled fabric. She took a whiff. It smelled strong!! So we decided that her choice had to be the best choice.
As we were leaving, I turned back to see what exactly she’d sprayed the cats “Stay Away Spray” on. “Um..Andi…” I said, staring at the object in the aisle, “Someone is sure going to be disappointed.”
“Why?” she asked innocently, turning to see what I was staring at.
“Because you sprayed that stuff on the platform on a cat scratch post.”
Her story reminded me of a humorous story I posted very soon after I started my blog about a time when I also went to PetSmart in search of this same product. The One Day I Got Out.
This post is linked to Miscellany Monday.

Hopefully the smell is only temporary, lol!
Hilarious! Sounds like you girls. Life is never boring with you.
Haha. Very funny!!!!
Doh! Sounds like something I would do! 🙂
It would be me that bought the cat post after it was sprayed. And I would always wonder why my cat hated it 🙂
hehe…..wonder if anyone has ever returned a scratching post because it “didn’t work”:))))
Haha..this totally made me laugh! Of course, most of the things I read on your blog do!
