#Ad Double Sausage Quiche #TheWrightBreakfastBreakfast, it’s the best meal, morning or night!  I’ll tell you what.  With this extreme cold weather (Hey, in Texas 17 degrees is  extreme!) I find myself thinking up and dreaming up various ideas to heat up my oven.  When I received the opportunity from #CollectiveBias to try Wright Brand breakfast sausage, I knew exactly what I wanted to make–Double Sausage Quiche!  I absolutely love breakfast sausage.  This is #TheWrightBreakfast for any sausage lover!

#Ad Wright Brand Sausage at WalmartI found Wright Brand sausage in the breakfast sausage section at Walmart.  And let me say, I have tried lots of Wright Brand products and have loved all of them.  I am definitely a fan!

What you will need to make the recipe:
1 package (14.4 oz) Wright Brand Sausage Links
1 Wright Brand Original Premium Pork Sausage (16 oz)
2 ( in) pie crust, unbaked
1 cup chopped green onion tops
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  8 eggs
4 cups heavy whipping cream

#ad Wright Brand Sausage #thewrightbreakfast #cbiasIf one sausage is great in quiche how much more yummy is two kinds of sausage?

#ad Wright Brand links #theWrightBreakfast #cbiasIn a small 8 inch frying pan brown the sausage links until they are no longer pink.  Remove from skillet and drain the oil.

#ad Wright Brand sausage chub #TheWrightBreakfast #cbiasIn the same skillet add the chub sausage and cook until brown, breaking the meat up occasionally as you would brown ground beef.

#ad chop sausage links #TheWrightBreakfast #cbiasWhile the ground sausage is cooking chop the sausage links and divide them into two pie shells.  I made my own pie crusts, but you can easily use bought crusts for a quick and easy breakfast.

#ad Quiche collageThen layer the sausage links, browned ground sausage, green onions, and cheese into the pie crusts.

#ad wisk eggs and milk add to quicheWhisk together eggs and cream and gently pour over the pies.  Pies will be very full.  You may want to bake them in a jelly roll pan in case a little overflows.

#AD Sausage lovers quicheBake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes.  Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.  This recipe makes 2 quiches and serves 12.  The recipe can easily be cut in half for 1 pie or make two and freeze one uncooked for later.  Just wrap it in plastic wrap and then tin foil over that and freeze!  No need to thaw just remove the plastic wrap and place in the oven.  May take additional cooking time.

#ad #TheWrightBreakfast QuicheEnjoy!  We thought it was a perfect breakfast with strawberries and bananas!

I make a similar recipe.. except we use frozen broccoli in place of the green onion. I’ve tried fresh broccoli but it doesn’t get as soft 🙂

I have desperately searching for a quiche recipe that is easy to make and my grandkids would love! As a Military wife for 32 yrs, money can be tight.

This is definitely a recipe from Heaven above
