A Tale About Modesty

When Grace was not quite two, I was hurriedly getting her ready for church one day.  I put her little Mexican dress on her that evidently had been hanging in the closet since the summer before.  Grace stood up, looked down and said, “More clothes Mommy, more clothes.”  The dress clearly did not even cover her diaper, but really at that age how did she know?

Smart girl!! xD To have a mind of modesty at that young an age is a great thing in such an immodest world. I hope she keeps that mentality as she gets older. <3

Some kids just seem to know, my niece is like that. She has always had a really good sense of modesty. That is such a cute story!

Cute story!!! I wish my kids had her modesty. My 2-year-old boy currently likes to take it all off.

That is so cute. And sadly, so true. I wish adult women would listen to that!!!

Modesty… something my 2 1/2 yr old has yet to grasp. I am constantly telling her to stop taking her clothes off! She’d prefer to lounge around the house in her undies.

Ha most kids have zero modesty at that age, hopefully she keep up that sense of modesty into her teen years and beyond!

Oh, how funny! Children are truly the greatest teachers. Your daughter reminds me of mine when she was a wee thing. She was such a modest little thing, and that thrilled me to my toes.
