We spent the morning chasing the kids up and down the stairs in their grandparent’s house in South Texas occasionally distracting them with puzzles.
This one was a bit tricky with the rounded edges. I did most of it but the girls helped now and then.
She’s getting good at the 24 piece puzzles.
She was so proud every time she put a piece together!
Christmas dinner at my sister Sara’s house. The kids enjoyed their own table.
The feast! We swapped stories over dinner, horsed around in the kitchen as we cleaned up, played several games of 42, and…I need a drum roll here…I played my very first game on the Wii. Yes I have now lived!

Looks like a great Christmas! I love that tree in the background to. I feel so guilty. I never got to put the tree up this year. We didn’t spend Christmas here, but I still wish I could have gotten it up, oh well. I know I use to always LOVE puzzels!!! I’d probably be the one putting them together and hogging the puzzel!! She did a great job!
Happy New Year Esther! Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2011.
And don’t worry, I’ll have plenty of flowers and foliage to photograph in the Spring — if all goes well this winter.
🙂
Looks like a wonderful Christmas! My older daughter LOVES doing puzzles too! Isn’t the Wii fun!?!
Happy New Year!
Love all your photos! Thanks for connecting over at my place. I’m looking forward to following along with you in 2011. (Love your housekeeper posts!) Happy New Year!

What?! You’ve never played the Wii until now?! LOL
Thank you so much for your sweet compliment on my blog. You made my day. I had happy tears in my eyes. Hopefully next year won’t be as painful as this one. Happy New Year!
Great pictures. And that’s funny, we played Wii for the very first time this Christmas too! 🙂
What a lovely looking family celebration, Esther! Our little girl hasn’t graduated to puzzles beyond the board kind, but I’m sure she’ll like them when she’s older. Here’s wishing you the very best New Year ever!
