A Child’s Plan for the Future

One of my girls told me today that she would like to get married when she is eighteen and asked if that was okay.  I answered that if it was the Lord’s will that would be okay.  Next she told me that she just wants one or at the most two kids.  Now this did surprise me.  “Why wouldn’t you want more than one or two kids?” I asked her.

“Because I don’t want a lot of kids fighting all the time.”

Hmm.  Now where do you think she would come up with something like that?  🙂

Tell her you didn’t want a lot of kids fighting either–you wanted a lot of kids helping their mother and playing happily. She could help make your wish come true!

@ Melanie: my thoughts, exactly! even with TWO sometimes the house gets way too loud with the fighting! heehee. esther, tell her if she plans on having kids, then she’d better just plan on hearing them fight. it comes with the package! 🙂

Tell her two kids can fight just as much as ten can. And one would be lonely.
