A Boy and His Mama

This little boy sure melts my heart.  Everyone told me it would happen.

The other day I put some overalls on him.  He came downstairs crying.  I didn’t know what the matter was until finally he pointed at his pants that had come unsnapped.  “Oh here, let me fix that for you.”

“Fix for you,” he replied.

Then he was happy and went back upstairs.  A little while later he came back downstairs with the same problem.  Again I snapped his overalls and sent him on his way.  The third time he came whimpering down the stairs and said oh so pitifully, “Mama, I no like it.”  Aw!  That got him a new pair of trousers!

He loves to play with my hair.  I asked him if he likes mama’s nose.  He said, “Like Mama’s hair.”

Once I was holding him while he drank his bottle (I can’t bring myself to give the bottle up yet).  One little hand was wrapped around a clump of my hair.  I turned my head not realizing that I was pulling my hair out of his grasp until he demanded, “Give it back!”

“With pleasure, baby, with pleasure.”  I’m going to have to be careful not to spoil him!

He sure is cute. I’m partial to boys, of course 😉

Oh, and you can borrow my cat anytime. Just give him back when you’re done, okay? 🙂 We kind of like him.

I have the exact same problem with my only boy. I adore all of my girls but my boy leaves my heart in a puddle on the floor. He is just so sweet and loving.

Enjoy him while you can. I’m sure he’ll turn into a typical boy soon enough …

I suppose it’s the same sort of thing with a daddy and his girl. Mine certainly has me wrapped around her little 2 year old finger.

He’s a cutie. My oldest son was a toehead. All blonde. Your doing a great job. I don’t think we can spoil them to much when their young. We can still spoil them and set safe reasonable boundaries.

Such a sweet little boy. It’s a shame they can’t stay like that for a little bit longer 🙂
