Sunday we celebrated 18 years of married
bliss laughs. I am much too honest to say it’s been bliss. In fact, when I see people gushing all over about how their spouse is the best, awesomest, wonderfullest thing ever…I kinda think they’re lying. Ha ha. And, no joke, a few years later I often see them divorcing, thanks to Facebook. But I digress.
There have been great times and there have been tough times, but truly being able to laugh through the years has been such a gift. We keep, or keep getting back, that spark. I am so thankful for this man who chose to do life with me.
Our special day began with coffee from my very own, brand new Keurig!! I really have wanted for one of these for so long. Now, the entire family is enjoying it. I’m so glad it’s not just for me but…let me know if you find K-cups on sale…. ๐
For lunch Jason took me to one of our favorite Mexican places, Anamias in Grapevine, Texas. I highly recommend the Ricky’s Tacos. Yum!!!!
Our evening ended with a very special dinner prepared and served to us by our budding little chefs Joy and Grace. They were so sweet to think of serving us. It was a meal just for the two of us. They fed the rest of the family after we were through. So thoughtful of them! We are very blessed!

Happy Anniversary ~
May you continue to grow deeper in love and in God’s grace!!
Looks like you had a wonderful day filled with cherished memories and treasured moments!
We’ll be celebrating our 36th anniversary on Aug. 4th.
Time surely does fly by quickly = )
Thanks so much Deb! And happy anniversary to you too. ๐
Happy Anniversary! Our 18th anniversary was on Sunday also. Unfortunately my husband had a virus so he stayed in bed all afternoon. Maybe we will get an opportunity to go out on a special date soon.
Ha we got married on the exact same day!!! I bet your day was much smoother than mine? ๐ Hope you get to celebrate. Being sick on those days is no fun at all!
What a wonderful anniversary celebration! Happy Anniversary!
Thank you! ๐
